A Word From John Mason
Stop and think for a moment. What would happen if the book you know you're supposed
to write became a national best-seller?...How many people would be helped?...How
would that impact your life and ministry?
Gratefully, I've experienced this firsthand. I'm an author myself. Fourteen years
ago I wrote my first book, An Enemy Called Average. Since then I've written ten
others. I've sold over 1.3 million books all over the world, which have been
translated into twenty-five languages. I've rejoiced in seeing thousands saved, encouraged,
and restored through the power of the printed page. I've been invited to minister
to some of the greatest churches in America and have spoken to tens of thousands
at national business conventions. And along the way, I also served as the head
of three leading Christian publishing companies.
I have always dreamed about personally
helping pastors and ministers who really
have something to say. Years ago, I
coined a phrase that's used within the
publishing world - life message. Has
God given you a life message? A message
that you were put on earth to bring
to others? Is that word bearing great
fruit? Doesn't it need to reach beyond
the sound of your voice?
How does that happen? How can that happen? For example, have you ever considered
taking your most responded to message and creating a book on it?
I feel led to devote a part of my time this year helping a very limited number
of authors take their books to a completely different level. Maybe you've published
with publishers, but the results were not what you knew they should be. Or maybe
you published on your own, but you've taken it as far as you can. Or maybe that
book is still inside you, waiting to get out.
